ACT Challenge

ATC stands for Artists trading card which were originally given by artists as a sample of their works. They are bits of card that measure 3.5 x 2.5 inches exactly. You decorate one side using a range of techniques and then write on the back a title for it, the date and who its made by.

9th Challenge Anything goes or Owls

Morning all

This is a catch up post

So Winners of Previous Challenges - I asked for previous winners that had not received there prises to come forward, I have been emailed by 2 previous winners that have not received there prizes, so apologies New ones have been sent out.

The winner of Challenge 5 - Sarah

and the winner of our last challenge was

 Amber

Well done everyone, there were truly some wonderful little magic pieces of ATC work there

Thanks to Leah, I've finally got around to using my Owl Stamp. I've used postcard type card for the background, applied distress ink to age the card, using the same ink,I stamped the fossil image. Then I stamped the main image on some lightweight card that I'd previously spritzed with inks.Cut and mounted the image after colouring the eyes, then finally stamped "Owl Mail"

Caro

Heres mine, using one of my favourtie techniques decoupage to give depth and cuteness to the baby owls, the photo angle is slightly odd but was trying to show the dimension

Jack

My ATC is made using papers from the Secret Garden pad and a stamp that came free with Craft Stamper ages ago.  I paper pieced the little owl, fiddly but fun, lol, and added some glitter pen, a sentiment and a swirly clip.

Abbie

I have used Black card and two stamped Owls which have been inked and colored, the leaves are from a friends stash xx

 Leah

Ok here mine ... always makes me laugh this stamp

I have used a Penny Black Owl, didnt realise I owned one of these !!! I sprayed background with cosmic shimmers and added some weathered wood distress inks, the whole thing has been embossed (i like embossing lol)

    Fiona

I made a mini easel for this atc challenge. I used some owl images from my craft studio, brayered the purple background and used some purple gems.

Shirley

My owls are from SU set , Punch Bunch .
I chose a black ATC and a blue moon .I hand cut some black card to create some night cloud in front of moon . I stamped owls in white ink onto Basic Black and Basic Grey , cut them out to adhere to ATC  over a black leaf ,with one owl 3D. I added some stars and dotted some white gel pen around  for moonshine effect.
